October 20th Preparedness Training

Register Now for Emergency Preparedness Level II Training:  Continuity of Operations Planning

The TCT is proud to continue its series of preparedness training sessions to help your organization ensure that it is prepared to function effectively in the aftermath of a disaster.  These sessions are conducted in concert with the Pierce County Emergency Management Division.

The goal is to ensure that the transportation sector is resilient and flexible enough to continue functioning no matter what comes our way.  To that end, the Club is offering training in three increasing levels of complexity:

  1. Emergency Preparedness geared toward businesses and business managers.
Three sessions offered in spring of 2023 (and anticipated to repeat in spring of 2024).
  2. Business Continuity of Operations Planning. — Friday, Oct 20, 9am – 1pm
  3. Tabletop Exercises to allow you to test your plans. — (Date TBD in 2024)

This is the only time the Level II training will be offered in 2023, so do what you can to get key members of your organization registered.  This training is open to all TCT members, designated internal company staff, and external affiliates you feel it is important (to your operation) to invite.  There is no charge to attend, but advance registration is required for purposes of planning the room, planning course materials, and notification of any changes.

The Level II training will be held in Conference Room 104 (the big room) of the Fabulich Center, 3600 Port of Tacoma Rd, Tacoma, WA 98424.
