Is Your Business Prepared?
The TCT is proud to announce the launch of a series of preparedness training sessions in 2023 to help your organization ensure that it is prepared to function effectively in the aftermath of a disaster. These sessions will be conducted in concert with the Pierce County Emergency Management Division.
The goal is to ensure that the transportation sector is resilient and flexible enough to continue functioning no matter what comes our way. To that end, the Club envisions offering training in three increasing levels of complexity:
- Emergency Preparedness geared toward businesses and business managers.
- Business Continuity of Operations Planning.
- Tabletop Exercises.
The Step 1 Emergency Preparedness training session has been scheduled to repeat on three dates:
- March 10, 10am – noon
- April 14, 10am – noon
- May 12, 10am – noon
These training sessions are open to all TCT members, designated internal company staff, and external affiliates you feel it is important (to your operation) to invite. There is no charge to attend, but advance registration is required for purposes of planning the room, planning course materials, and notification of any changes.
These sessions will be held in one of the meeting rooms on the main floor of the Fabulich Center, 3600 Port of Tacoma Rd, Tacoma, WA 98424.
