TO THE TRANSPORTATION CLUB OF TACOMA

Welcome to the Transportation Club of Tacoma and thank you for taking the time to see what our great Club offers its members as well as the people in our community.

From our inception in 1926 to the family of 338 we know today, our Club maintains a strong focus toward the transportation industry and local community. As leaders and citizens of Pierce County community, we offer our membership a wide variety of unique opportunities to not only impact their professional lives but their personal ones too. Here are just a few of the many things we accomplished together in the last year.

$14,950 in Scholarship Awards to 25 children
$22,000 raised for Emergency Food Network (EFN) at the Holiday luncheon in December, bringing our total food contributions since 1999 to 1.25 million
$12,000 shared between Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital and Habitat for Humanity, raised at the 2010 Spring Open Charity Golf Tournament held annually in May
1,656 Bandages raised at the annual Mary Bridge Children's Hospital Bandage Drive
Monthly guest speaker luncheon's with Presidents, CEO's, COO's and political leaders from major businesses/organizations across the country
Awarded Best Website and Newsletter by Transportation Clubs International (TCI) 2007-2009

Whether it be our charitable work, monthly networking opportunities with key guest speakers, scholarship program, holiday food drive or one or our two golf tournaments, we're focused on making a difference in the community and in our industry.
