WELCOME TO THE TRANSPORTATION CLUB OF TACOMA

Thank you for visiting the website for the Transportation Club of Tacoma. At 273 members strong, we're rapidly becoming the happening place to be in the local transportation community and beyond. Our Club, governed by a Board of Directors and together with the membership, is very active within our companies, industry and communities.

2008 will go down in our Club history as an all around record setting year. Under the leadership of Presidents Anita Lydiard and Jeff Clark, some of the highlights were as follows:

$14,500 in scholarship awards raised primarily from Hi Jinks Scholarship Golf Tournament held annually in August
$14,800 raised for Emergency Food Network (EFN) at the Holiday luncheon in December
$7,000 shared between Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital and Habitat for Humanity, raised at the Spring Open Charity Golf Tournament held annually in May
Over 600 Band-Aid boxes raised at the 1st annual Mary Bridge Children's Hospital Band-Aid Drive
Awarded Best Website by Transportation Clubs International (TCI)

It's clear to see that this is a Club that’s focused on making a difference. Together we can keep up the momentum and continue to build upon our 81 year old foundation. In Club years, 82 means we’ve only just begun! Take your time to browse our site and learn about the opportunities that await you with the Transportation Club of Tacoma. Then help us spread the word and reach out to others that would benefit from membership in our Club.
